[Completed] 2015 Holiday hours and closed dates

It’s the holiday season again — the time of year for the library to be closed on unusual days of the week.
We will be closed November 26-28 for Thanksgiving.
We will close early at 12:00 noon on December 24th and will be closed December 25th, 26th for Christmas.
We will close at 2:00 PM December 31st and be closed January 1st (2016) for New Years.
All items that show due dates on days we are closed will be reset to the next open day (i.e. if your item is due Nov. 26th you won’t need to worry about returning it until Monday, Nov. 30th).
The book drop will still be available for use and items found within will be checked in as if they were returned on the most recent day we were open.
We wish you all safe travels and happy times with loved ones!
Warm Regards,
Your Library

[Discontinued] Staff book recommendations

We’ve began recommending books along the side bar of our webpage as you may have noticed! (check the bottom of our mobile site or look on the right on desktop view—>)
These are books that Stinson staff have read and enjoyed. We either write or find a short description of the book and publish it here. In addition to the description, each item has an image of the book cover and a direct link to the book’s record in out PAC (allowing patrons to see if the book is checked in, reserve a copy of the book, or just find out more about it).

We’re hoping to be able to publish about 3 every 2 weeks. Reviews from the past will be listed below our latest suggestions.

We hope you enjoy these books as much as we have ☺
