Welcome to Stinson Library’s Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme, Plant a Seed, Read!, invites readers of all ages to sow curiosity, grow imagination, and harvest new stories.
Whether you’re a child exploring enchanted gardens, a teen digging into mysteries, or an adult cultivating new interests, there’s something here for everyone. Join us for storytimes, hands-on activities, book clubs, and community events designed to help ideas take root and flourish.

Summer Reading Session Information
Register for SRP sessions!
Starting on Week 1 or Week 7, please take the time to register using the online form here!
Pick the right weekly session for you!
Sessions are planned with participants in mind! It is important you stick to your right age group to get the most from SMPLD’s Summer Reading Program.
Babies and Toddlers – Meet on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Pre-k through 3rd grade – Have sessions on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.
4th through 8th graders – Gather on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.

Teen Summer Reading takes place each Saturday from 11 – 1 p.m. at Stinson Library. Stay from 1 – 3 to watch a movie that goes along with our SRP theme!
Join us each week for a coffee and waffle bar, then fun Plants vs. Zombies activities! For readers 12 to 18 only, please!
Adult SRP programs are growing this summer! Join us each week from 4 -6 p.m. for a craft, activity, presenter, or book club!
