Get geared up for Summer Reading 2016!
Complete your origin story (registration) beginning June 1st. You can fly down to the library to fill out a form or use mind control to register online (for the first time ever!). We will assemble for the first program June 22nd (for Pre-K through 4th grade) and June 23rd (5th grade through 8th grade). Any questions? Send up the Ms. Beth signal! Or call or stop by the library and ask for Ms. Beth. We hope to have your help fighting crime and reading books this summer!

If you haven’t heard yet, two programs that were suspended during Summer Reading Program are back up and running: Story Time and Tech Workshops!
Story Time is designed for children ages 2-6 and their families. We read several books, make a craft, and end it with a snack! This recently started program is quickly grow so come in an enjoy the fun! Wednesdays at 3:30 in the downstairs auditorium.
Tech Workshops are designed for anyone, young or old, who has technology related questions or problems. We answer questions openly and encourage hands-on practical experience. Typically people bring in their laptop, computer, cell phone, smartphone, or tablet and we answer question directly relating to participants’ needs. Tuesdays 10:00 AM -6:00 PM in the downstairs auditorium. Update: we will be available from 10 AM – 6 PM
The Child & Family Connections is hosting a play date for kids from birth to 3 years here at Stinson Library!
We’ll read a book, eat a snack, and make a craft!

Our Level readers (easy readers) have been re-cataloged and re-organized into 8 distinct groups base on how difficult they are to read. Level 0 for the easiest books all the way up to level 5+, some of which are almost like chapter books! Let us know if this is beneficial to your browsing experience. We’ve already gotten some positive feedback about it 🙂
Come into the library and fill out a registration form, or print one out and bring it in. Children who will be going into Pre-K through 8th grade next school year are all welcome to join in the fun! Registration ends June 19th so hurry in and claim your place. Programs begin on June 24th (for Pre-K through 4th grade) and June 25th (for 5th through 8th grade).
